Sleeping

As I said in my previous blog, Macy usually goes to sleep on her belly with her ankles crossed and her arms tucked underneath herself. Most uncomfortable looking position I have ever seen. But hey, what ever keeps her asleep! ;)
Every night I go in her room before we go to bed and make sure she is ok and shes covered back up. And 9 out of
10 times I usually find her in the weirdest positions in the bed. As much as she squirms and flip flops all her her bed at night.... She will probably still be in a crib at 10 years old.

Ankles

I just think this is the cutest thing ever. She ALWAYS has her legs crossed at her ankles. Even when I was pregnant with her, every ultrasound we had her ankles were crossed. When she sleeps.... Her ankles are crossed. In the car seat, she rides with her ankles crossed. If she is just watching TV, her ankles are crossed. I guess we become creatures of habit as early as in the womb.

America's next TOP model

I'm pretty sure she's the next Cindy Crawford!

A little more....

I fall in love with this sweet face a little more each day. I know every parent says it, but it's completely true.... Just when I think I couldn't possibly love her anymore.... Tomorrow comes and my heart swells a little more.

Cousins & Best Friends

I finally got to spend a whole day lovin on Presley and finally getting to know her. And I must say... I am in love with another one of my sisters kiddos! She is such a sweet baby, and I can not wait to get back home for some more Pretzel time!!! ;)

Macy is totally smitten with Kinley,. I always say that Kinley makes Macy laugh like no one else in our entire family. She LOVES her and is her biggest fan!!!! The very second she lays eyes on Kinley she is beyond excited.

We attempted to get some pictures of the 3 girls however Presley wasn't really feeling the paparazzi at the moment. But I did get some pretty cute ones of the BIG and the MIDDLE!

Texas Blue Bonnets

If you live anywhere in the great state of Texas.... You know just how important it is to get your kids and family pictures in the Blue Bonnets every year! We looked all over Houston for pretty blue flowers and came up with NOTHING!!!!
I had finally given up and said oh well maybe next year.... what is what I told my self last year.... so i was slightly disappointed.....

We headed to Waco last weekend for my family reunion and low and behold Jeff's parents had a patch of blue bonnets outside in their back yard...  Since they have been out for a while and pretty much the "season" was coming to an end, there were a few TALL weeds to go with them. Which Macy was not to happy about... This is the same child that would rather not step foot on grass.  ( a little girly... maybe........a bit dramatic... ALOT)

I had the great idea to use a small little wooded chair that Jeff's parents had and though it would help to make for great/wonderful/BEAUTIFUL blue bonnet pictures. My hopes were quickly shot down as we raced to get a few pictures snapped before it started pouring down rain.... Not to mention Macy did not care for the chair as the flowers and weeds still touched her.  So plan B.... stand her up! Brilliant idea..... not so much......  she wanted to dance on the chair and yup you guessed it.... fell off and landed in the weeds and flowers she so desperately didn't want to touch in the 1st place. Oh well.... I gave up! I got a couple of keeper shots and a few funny memories. Because in the end that is all that really matters right..... Memories!
And maybe the hope of next year!

**(I don't know what is wrong with the last picture but Blogger will NOT let me flip it.)
